I had to format my hard drive and re-load all programs. MS Office gave me an
error message of:
"HTMLMARG.OCX was unable to register itself in the system registr" and now I
can't use Access, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
Now what
I saved the info below from the last time someone asked this
I have NOT used this, only provide what someone else said at the time

Access 97 program. We tried several times to get Access 97 to load on
my system and couldn't. We even tried removing the current version of
Access from my system. It goes through the entire load process but
fails to start saying that I don't have a license. Search google for
"hatten" and "license" and all should become clear. Or you can just go
here:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;141373
An easy fix for this is to go and search for the Hatten.ttf font.
Rename it and
reinstall Office/Access 97. Then rename the font back
checked online and download the kb834707 update if needed
Office 97 and Windows XP SP2? After a clean install of Windows XP,
drivers, and SP2 plus other windows updates Office 97 will not
complete installation.
My company recently had this problem - I discovered the solution while
trying to manually register 'htmlmarq.ocx' - Open regedit and browse
to this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image
File Execution Options
You should see htmlmarq.ocx and htmlmm.ocx separate keys. Rename them
to something else, ie. htmlmarq.tmp and htmlmm.tmp.
You will now be able to install Office 97, including the HTML option
DISCLAIMER: I don't know what this section of the registery does or
why these files were apparently blocked (intentionally or accidently),
but this solution worked flawlessly for me. If you feel uncomfortable,
I'm betting you can rename the keys back to the originals and office
will work, but if you need to reinstall, you'll possibly have to
rename them again.

If you go into the folder C

rogram Files Microsoft Office Office and
either delete or move or rename the Actors folder then the regular
help box comes up instead of that stupid paper clip
