MS Outlook - Can you assign a task

Hi all,

I've been on training and all for Project 2003.
I know it's possible to take tasks from your task list in Outlook and create
a project plan with them...but can you assign the tasks to the resources so
that it appears in their Outlook Tasks?

Hi Chantal,

Take a look at the following knowledge base article concerning
installing the workgroup messaging add-on in MS Project 2003.

Please note this is an unsupported feature in Project 2003. After
following the instructions for installation, you'll also need to make
sure that you have email addresses for each resource. In Tools >
Options collaborate tab, you'll need to set up Email as the
collaboration.

Hi,

If your are using Microsoft Project Server, you can use the Outlook-Add-In
for Project Server to sync with the Outlook Calendar or a 3rd Party Tool
like Allocatus (http://www.allocatus.com) to sync with your Outlook Tasks.
