MS Project 2007 Visual Reports and Earned Value

Hi,

I did a small Earned Value test which had 5 tasks (+ summary row)

Columns:
BAC, AC, %, EV, PV, CV, SV, EAC and I used physical % complete to
calculate ev.

Anyways, MSP calculates those columns right and I get the data what I
need, but when I try to create visual report it shows only zeros in
the report? I tested the default eva report which was included with
MSP and I did try to make new one, still only zeros. What I'm missing?

You have costed resources for each task loaded and a proper baseline?
Is your status date set properly (Project/Project Information...)
Are your units set the same in Project and Excel pivot tables?

I don't have resources assigned to the tasks. Baseline is correct and
status date is set properly.

Like I said before MSP calculates EVA right and I get the data. It
shows everything right in the MSP.
If I open Task Usage window, it shows the right information for acwp,
bcwp, bcws, cost and act. cost and the data is spread correctly to
different weeks.

Still, when I open Visual Reports and choose Earned value ... report
and view, it shows only zeroes. I also tested other fields than that
report offers but with same result. I have excel 2003 and MSP 2007, is
it ok?

Can it be like this because I don't have resources assigned?

Hmh.. my post disappeared.

I don't have resources assigned, is it mandatory?

I do have baseline and status date correct. MSP calculates the EVA
right atm. Task Usage windows shows correct values for ACWP, BCWP,
BCWS, Cost and Act. Cost, But when I run the report, it shows only
zeroes.

Hope this message is now sent.. 3rd time.

I don't have resources assigned, is it mandatory for the report?

I have proper baseline and status date is correct.

MSP calculates and shows all values right. Task Usage windows shows
correct information for ACWP, BCWP, BCWS, Cost and Act. Cost.
Still when I run the report, only zeroes is imported to excel.

Are your units set the same in Project and Excel pivot tables? what
do u mean with this?

I have excel 2003.
