MS Project Professional changing actuals

We have a project with many fixed duration tasks. When we moved this project
to Project Server 2003 and MS Project Professional 2003 and entered time, it
changed the time for previous actuals (from the original move).

The same project was in MS Project 2000 and on Project Central, but this
problem never happened in that environment.

Any ideas or suggestions? The users don't appreciate changes to their
previous actuals. Thanks.
