I have a strange issue here - MS WORD 2002 has version
(10.5815.4219) SP2 & MS Outlook 2002 has version
(10.4712.4219) SP2. Both were installed off of the same
CD - OFFICE PRO in corporate environment on several
machines. One user is attempting to set MS Word as his
email editor in Outlook - message pops up - Your Outlook
and Word versions do not match. You will need to update
your Outlook to the same version as Word.
Well, I have the same version # for WORD & OUTLOOK on 3
other machines(as stated above). When I set Word as the
email editor on these machines, it works. I have run
Office Repair, no luck; D/l'ed & installed 3 Office XP
patches on the machine that is giving me the error and
retried process after each one - still did not work. Any
suggestions, ideas....?
