MSProject - how to place user defined "Custom File Properties" on.

File Properties provides a mechanism for defining custom properites. Can
this property be inserted into the legend, header or footer? Using the
syntax &[<property name>] does not appear to work.

Select file, page setup and you can add most of the properties to the
current view's printout.

Thanks Rod, but the dropdowns under page setup do not appear to include a
user defined property, defined under custom properties.

Hi G,

You are right, this cannot be done as uch.
The workaround is either not to use customproperties, but instead the textn
fields of the project summary tasks (which are accessible by page setup) or
to copy (possibly by VBA) the value of the custom property into a
projectsummarytask.textn field or also to copy them directly into the setup
header or footer.
