multiple effects in powerpoint

How can I add multiple effects on one object. I want to
trigger a second effect on the same object when another is
clicked. Can I do this. Thanks.

Gopi,
This is doable in PowerPoint 2002 and later quite easily. Click the object,
not the effect. Then the change button on the animation taskpane will go
back to add. You can have several effects done at the same time by setting
them to run either with previous or after previous.

Be sure to select the object on the slide itself, not the effect in the list
in the Custom Animation task pane.

If you select on the slide, you have the option to "add effect," and you can
add as many as you like. If you select in the list in Custom Animation task
pane, the "add effect" option becomes a "change" option -- and that's what
you'd use to change an effect you've already added. Make sense?

Adding a trigger:
Right-click the object you want to animate on click and select Custom
Animation. Add an appropriate entrance/exit/motion path animation. Then
click the arrow to the right of the object in the custom animation task
pane and select Timing. In that dialog, click the Triggers option.
Choose "start effect on click of" and in that box, select the object
that will trigger the animation.
