Multiple Off 2000

D

Duane Loftus

I was just up on the Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs
section and noticed that Office 2000 is listed three times
as:

Microsoft Office 2000 Professional
Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Disk 2
Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Premium

Do I need all three versions?
Do I run into any problems deleting 2 of them?
I'm confused!

thanks,
Duane

Hi Wayne,

Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Disk 2 contains PhotoDraw. If you don't use this
application, you can remove this with no problem.

Microsoft 2000 SR-1 Premium has your Word, Excel, etc. applications.

It seems to me that you don't need Microsoft Office 2000 Professional.
Check your Office CD's - do they say Premuim? If yes, you can remove this
Professional entry from your Add/Remove Programs.

Kind regards,
Colette

Hi Colette,

Ummm, actually Photodraw would be on
Office 2000 Premium Edition CD#3 (program)
CD 2 would be MS Publisher and the MS Office 2000
Small Business Tools and would be the same
for both Office 2000 Professional or Premium.

You're correct that both a Professional and
Premium Edition (CD #1) should not be installed :)
