Multiple resource calendars!

Is it feasible in Project to have a resource pool but in the shared project
files off it have the same resources working on different calendars on
different projects.

For example; the same staff working at mines (projects) that operate
different shifts.

As far as I can see if you use a resource pool file then you must use the
calendar designated in this file!

Hello Phil,

Sorry, I'm afraid not. As you note, when using the resource pool
file, each resource has only one calendar definition.

A workaround you could use would be to create task calendars which
define the shifts per project, assign the task calendars to the tasks
in question and then select the option to have the task calendar over
ride the resource calendar. You can create task calendars through
Tools > Change Working Time, New. Assign the task calendar to the
task by double clicking on the task to show the Task Information
dialog box, and select the Advanced tab.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
