Multiple smtp servers in identity?

I just migrated from Office Outlook 2007 to Mac platform using Office 2008 and Entourage. I want to reuse the profile function as available in 2007.

I have seen the function Identities in Entourage but I think they differ. I want to use multiple profiles to have a different POP servers which vary per location. How can I use an identy with one email database but only switch the email accounts (pop servers) ?

I'm not familiar with the profile function. See if this is what you need.

Hi Marcel!

The equivalent of profiles *is* identities, however, I don't understand
why you'd want to change the POP (receiving) mail server for different
locations. Usually, folks want to change the SMTP (sending) mail server
address.

Unfortunately, nothing in Entourage can automate the switching of
servers by location without the help of an AppleScript. Diane has
already provided you those links.
