Multiple Template Downloads

N

Neil G

I would like to download the real estate templates that Microsoft has
available. I am able to download only 1 at a time and to get them all would
take an eternity. Does anyone know how I can download more than 1 at a time
or is there some other site that might have them available in a better format
for downloading?

Thanks for anyoneones help.

For you to be able to download all the templates at once, it would mean multiple
openings of the program used to create the templates. Your system couldn't handle it.

I understand what you are saying, but if I could just download the files and
put them in my template folderthat would allow me to call anyone up that I
wanted.

Once you download the template, save it on your computer as a template, you don't
have to return to the template gallery to use it again.

Yes, I understand that I can download it and save as template, but since
there several hundred of them I would like to be able to get them as a group.
Downloading several hundred individually and then saving each one as a
template is very time consuming.

Several hundred? Dang, Neil! I've looked at a lot of the templates and there
aren't that many and a lot of them are very similar. Besides, do you really
want something that is available to every other MS user? You have something
they don't - your creative talents!

JoAnn,

You are probably right but it would be so easy to have a whole load of the
templates and then modify them from there.

There is a reason the templates are popular JoAnn :).

BTW, there are many Publisher 2003 templates available online that are only
viewable by those who have Office 2003 on their computer (the website checks
your system). This means that Publisher 2002 users can't see them so they
can't download them. A supposed "upsell" feature to make Publisher 2003
users feel like they got more money out of their purchase.

I talked to my old MVP lead and asked her if I could download all the 2003
templates and then post them on our publishermvps.com website for 2002
users. She didn't like that idea :O)

May 12 at the Malvern event. Sean was there as well as two MS televangelists
and about 30 MVPs. It was a fun day. :)
