Multiple Views open at once?

If I have two monitors set up, would it be possible to open two views at
once, one on each of the monitors? It would be great if I could view the
gantt chart on one screen, and the resource usage view on the other. That
way, I could easily move my tasks around, and see how my resources are
affected at the same time.

Thanks,

Hi Kelly,

Even on one monitor, try Window, Split.
By activating each one of the views you can change it.

Now, can I pull the splits apart and put them on different screens? I want
to be able to see each view on a full sized screen.

If you are able to, tile your screens on top of one another instead of the
normal side by side. This will then let you pull the split to the bottom of
the first screen i.e. above the split will be on the top or 1st screen and
below the split will be on the bottom or 2nd screen.

If you're using Windows XP and each view is in its own window I don't know
why not. I haven't tried it yet but I'm looking to get another monitor soon
myself as my video card supports two and I need it for some video editing.
With two monitors the desktop extends over both. Just open a new window
with the Window, New Window menu item, set it to contain the desired view
and drag it over to the other monitor. Has to be two windows though, just
splitting the screen probably won't do it.
