multiply range of cells

I want to multiply a range of cells (not a list) that are a product of another worksheet.
i.e. I have an 'analysis sheet' that autofills a 'summary sheet'. I now want a range of cells in that 'summary sheet' to be multiplied by the same number (to give me a result in a different currency).
The workbook would then show several sheets - summary $$$, summary £££, analysis ££

Thanks

Put the multiplication factor in a convenient cell. Copy it. Then select the
range of cells to be multiplied. Got to Edit-paste Special, and select
multiply.

I'm interpreting your question a bit differently than Bob G. What he
suggested will actually change the values in the cells, but my understanding
is that you don't want those values to be changed. Instead, you want to have
the result of multiplying them by a constant in another location.

What isn't clear is whether the values are in a single column or multiple
columns & what you currently have in your workbook - sheets can't "autofill"
other sheets. The destination sheet reads content from the source. If you
could be more explicit as to what you have & what you want to obtain it
would be easier to offer a clear explanation, but if my understanding is
correct what I envision is:

Sheet1 contains values of some sort,
Sheet2 contains calculated results based on the values from Sheet1

What you want is:

Sheet3 to display each of the results from Sheet2 multiplied by the same
constant which we'll call X.

Let's say that the results on Sheet2 are in cells D10:D50 & you want the
information on Sheet3 to be in cells B10:B50...

In cell B10 of Sheet3 create a simple formula: =Sheet2!D10*X

Then copy the formula down to B50 of Sheet3.

If neither Bob nor myself have hit the mark please paint a clearer picture
of what you're starting with & what you need.

Thankyou for both messages.
MVP - That's what I was after. As a new Mac user I just couldn't find it anywhere.
CyberTaz - as you say, Sheet 1 contains the values, Sheet2 contains calculated results based on sheet1.
Sheet 3 is a duplicate of sheet 2, and the same values are also entered in here. I then enter the conversion rate (for that month) and chose the range of cells I want, in order to get the same data in $'s.
