My Document folder vs. Program folder?

Is there any "easy" way to install windows/office, so that all program
files/folders will be placed on one partition and My Document
files/folder will be placed on another partition? Or with some kind of
link between them???
I.E. C:\programfiles\microsoft......
and E:\My Documents\....

After you install the software (select custom install to be able to
select the program directory) you simply go to any application and:

Select TOOLS at the top
Select OPTIONS from the drop-down list
Select FILE LOCATIONS
