My emails seem to go to another email program or folder when I download them
in outlook, how can I fix this and find my lost emails?

Which one? Email program, or folder? For the former- either stop opening
that program or remove your email account from it. For the latter, if you
mean inbound mail gets moved to other folders, check your rules settings in
outlook.
