My font show up larger on the web

I have been having problems with my FP websites and the font showing up much
larger after I ftp it to the site. I would like the font to be arial 10, but
after it's posted it looks more like 14. Does anyone know why this is
happening? On my computer it looks great, but if I look on another the font
is huge!
