Have you tried rebooting? Sometimes, Outlook is still running, but hung up,
and not showing on the taskbar. Rebooting usually fixes this by stopping all
running programs.
Or, have you tried rebooting, and it's still not working? Right-click a
blank area on Windows' taskbar, and choose Task Manager. Click on the
Processes tab, then click on the Image Name heading to sort by image name.
Do you see Outlook.exe on the list? If so, click it, and choose End Process.
If Outlook.exe isn't on the list there, it's possible that it or a necessary
file was deleted. If you're using Outlook 2003 or 2002, try Help - Detect
and Repair from Outlook's main menu.
