Would very much appreciate help! When I open Entourage I get a message that the database is full and I need to rebuild it. I have done both of the Rebuild options but it is still full. I don't know how to open the database in this identity to reduce it's size so I can use the program.

Thanks in advance!!!!

Are you sure this is Entourage 2004? There is no limit in Entourage 2004 but
Entourage X did have a 4 GB limit (2GB unless you upgraded).

Rebuilding a damaged database that exceeded size limit

In case the above link does not work:

If you are unsuccessful, you can contact me off list. I have been very
successful in recovering Entourage X databases.

Hi Steve!

To the best of my knowledge, Entourage has no message that will alert
you that it's "full". It can't get full although your hard drive
certainly can.

Are you sure this isn't a message from your E-mail service provider
telling you that you're over your disk space quota?

Entourage X did give this warning IF you upgraded and were getting close to
the 4 GB limit. If not when it hit the 2GB limit there was no warning.

You're picking apart my answer instead of taking it as a whole. ;-)

His message says he's using Entourage 2004. In that context a disk quota
message seems a reasonable suggestion to make.

He wouldn't be the first person to have the wrong info on version.
