Need help formatting the HTML page save from project 2003

L

Lou Caramucci

I saved a project as an HTML file. The formating within is not what it
should be. Can I edit the format without having to manually write the source
code? I am looking for an easy update process.

There should be some template files in the program files somewhere that
control this.

Hi Lou,

Well, it depends upon what you want to change. You are correct, the
formatting (the way the information appears, colors, etc) is driven by
the HTML template and as far as I know, you would need to edit the
source code for the HTML. There are other HTML templates, so I would
experiment until you get one that is close. If you then save the HTML
page to the directory, you should be able to select the same HTML
template. Sorry, I'm afraid the source code modifications are beyond
me.

However, if you want to alter the information which is displayed (what
fields are included) you can re-run the export wizard, edit the fields
that are exported and save the modified export as a new map.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
