Need help w/ Out of office assistant!

J

Jack Fernandez

Every time I try and open the out of office assistant, I
receive a dialogue box which reads "The command is not
available. See the program documentation about how to
use this extension."

I'm not offline, so I'm stumped. Can you help?

Thank you,
Jack

Does your email server provide this service? Normally this only
available for in-house corporates who use Microsoft Exchange Server.

Also, take note of security issues when sending out of office to
internet mail:

1. you're telling everyone you are not there. you might not want
everyone to know.
2. bounces will go tot spammers, and this tells them your email is good;
attracting more spam.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

My problem is that I can't turn off my out of office
assistant. I'm receiving the message I originally
described below.

A layer of the onion has been peeled ... :)

Using Exchange Server? Have you discussed with the people running this
server? Outlook and Exchange have to work together to work.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.
