Need help w/ searches in Outlook

I am having trouble finding messages because I get a TON of messages and from
time to time need to find a very specific message in an archived folder.

Unfortunately, the Microsoft search tool doesn't work the way I would expect
or need it to work. As an example, if I need to find the specific string
"my special proposal", then Outlook returns all messages that contain these 3
words anywhere in the message. But, I specifically only want to find the
messages that have that exact string in the message body.

I don't want to create rules to do all of this, since I don't need to filter
these messages out into special folders, and I really need to be able to do
ad-hoc searches through large folders to find a specific message.

Does anyone know of a way that I can perform searches in Outlook and specify
that I'm looking for an EXACT STRING?

If not, does anyone know if you can use regular expressions in the Outlook
search tool? (it doesn't seem to recognize regular pattern expressions)
