Need help

Buying a new PC. Looking at HP A465. Has a AthlonXP
processor. Never used anything but Pentium. Any comments
on this processor and PC? Can I use Office 2000 with this
processor? Thanks.

AMD generally cheaper than Intel
You pays yr money and makes yr choice!
Not much to choose between the two, unless perhaps you have some v.specific
apps.
Personnally I've used AMD for some yrs, simply cause I'm tight; I' would'nt
however buy another sys from a mainstream supplier - but then thats only
because I tend to have upgrade my sys.and its easier with a generic sys.
Any Office app runs on AMD sys
