Hello,

I amnot sure if this is relevant topic, please forward me is it is
necessary. thx

I have some tables in database (oracle, access or excel). one of them
is node list, another is the linktable. So I want to create shapes related nodes and links between them by linktable.

I can create shapes but links not. How can i do it?

thx

visio connections are usually between 'connection points' on objects. If
you're using some of the fancier shapes (like from netzoom) they will often
come preconfigured with connection points. It is then fairly straight
forward with code to drop a connector on a page and then assign the
endpoints to the appropriate connection points on the network nodes. There
are some good examples in the samples supplied with the v2003 SDK on MSDN.
