If I'm in the wrong group I apologize; I couldn't determine which group I
needed to ask this in.

I am running Windows XP pro on all my computers; I have networked them
altogether and everything is working. When connecting one computer to
another one, I would like to require a User Name and Password. Would someone
be so kind as to tell me how to do this.

Turn off the Guest Account. See WindowsXP Help. in Start, help and
support. Further queries about Windows XP should be directed to one of
the appropriate WindowsXP operating system groups.
