New Computer

Sean

Ive got a new computer and I'm trying to install
Microsoft office on it from my old computer but it won't
let me copy it onto a disc (I think its to prevent
copyright). I think that I've either lost the original
discs or else it was already on my old computer. URGENT.

You can't copy the program from your machine to a disk - you HAVE to have
the original install CD to proceed.

To add to what Gordon has said, you have an OEM licence. An OEM licence is
tied forever to the system it was first installed on and cannot be installed
on any other, no matter what fate befalls the old system.

In other words, to summarise, if you want Office on your new system, you are
required to purchase it.

No can do -- you will have to purchase the software, if you want to install
it on a new computer.
