New Document Pane

How many templates will the "New Document Pane" on the right side hold in
history (recently used)?

I don't want that pane to hold too many, it will clutter my view.

Also, is that something I can set (limit to 3)?

I would guess that four is the limit--that's all I've got, and I know I've
used more than those four recently.
