new pre-populated record

I would like to add a button to a form, so that if I press this button, a new
record will open with some of the fields pre-populated from the record with
the button. Is this possible?

Jessshin,
Use the button to set the Default values for those fields to the present value on the
form. When you go to a new record, those fields will be filled in with those defaults.
