Can anyone please tell me if there is a way to create a Rule in Outlook
2000, that will send all email from people in the Address Book only to the
Inbox, all others get sent to the Delete box?
If there is a way, I could not find an easy solution. Thanks!
I don't know if this will work but try creating the 2 rules below, with the
first rule running before the second rule:
(1) Apply this rule after the message arrives,
sender is in <specified> address book,
stop processing more rules.
(2) Apply this rule after the message arrives,
through the <specified> account,
delete it,
and stop processing more rules.
Theoretically (at least), all messages coming from people in your address
book will have no further rules applied to them... leaving all other
messages arriving through your mail account exposed to the second rule
where they should get deleted. You might test rule #2 first by having the
messages moved to a test folder instead of being deleted, just to get that
safe feeling.
