New web

OK, I guess I got ahead of myself; Ihave a web site,
www.all-american-productions.com
I have no problems with that; Ihave a new domain, and I
created a new folder and in that folder I created the
pages for the new domain/site; but I messed It up, did
not have the folder on the root directory, so it ws not
publishing correctly; after much frustration, I have
deleated the new web from the server, and also the entire
file/folder from FrontPage.

Now, I want to start over; should be super basic
question, sorry but I am a begginer. So, I want to creat
a new web site in FrontPage; exactly what steps do I take
to create the new index page, and make sure it default to
the home page for the new domain, and then be able to add
pages etc just like the first site domain, but keep the
files separate in folder view?

This may be silly, but I just want to make sure the new
site is easy to distinguish from the other...in other
words, if I just create a new web, will I have
two "index.html" files side by side? Since I already
created teh site once, and tied to publish, and have had
to deleat the files, I want to start over and get it
right!!

Or to put it one last way, how do you manage the creation
of new sites in frontpage?

Locally (on your PC) you can have as many FP webs / sites as you want
- you can create them in the My Webs folder as say Myweb1, MyWeb2, MyWeb3, etc
Just type the path for each one in the File New Web Dialog page under location
(it is actually better to create them as new top level folders say C:\Myweb1, C:\MyWeb2, C:\MyWeb3, and not in the My Documents, My
Webs default folder locations)

But you can only publish 1 of them to the root domain at http://www.all-american-productions.com

If you have purchased another domain (say http://www.all_american_ebay_productions.com) and made arrangements with an online host to
host the new domain with the FP Server Extensions installed, then you can open any of the local (your PC based) webs and publsih it
there using File Publish
