Newbie help needed with Task Usage View

I would like to shade every other line of the resource assignments
which show up under each task.

In Excel VBA there are several ways of doing this, but I'm not locating
any information on how to shade the assignment rows in Project.

Any help, scripts or advice greatly appreciated.

Scout,
Unlike Excel Project cannot shade the background color of individual
field cells. The best you can do is to change the font characteristics
(i.e. color, italic, bold, etc.) of every other row.

As it turns out a very similar question was asked in our sister
newsgroup (microsoft.public.project) a few weeks ago. Do a search on:
"any way to highlight every other row in a project" on Oct 22, by Chuck
B.
