Newbie Question - How to delay a project

Hi,

I have a project that was put on hold for a few weeks. Can someone
please tell me the 'proper' way to include this delay so that the
scheduled dates move forward?

Hi Damien,

Try Tools>Tracking>Update Project. Click the radio button next to
"Reschedule uncompleted work to start after: and enter the anticipate
"re-start" date. Click "Entire Project"
Click OK.

If work has not yet begun, you can simply change the project start date:
(Project, Project Information).

If work has been done, nad the remainder needs to be delayed, you can go to
Tools, Tracking, Update Project, Reschedule Uncompleted Work to Begin After:
[set date].
