I have Command-c for copying, but there is nothing indicated for Paste. Command-v is not offered.

That means that whatever is on the clipboard (which may be empty) can not be
pasted at the location of the cursor.

When I use the mouse and click Paste it works fine. There is still no Command-V option. There isn't even one that's grayed out. It's just not there.

Did you perhaps reassign the Command+V keystroke to another command? Or
possibly someone else with access to your system? To fix it...

Go to Tools> Customize Keyboard, select Edit then select the EditPaste
command & take a look in the Current Keys: box. If the stroke is listed
select & Remove it. After that (or if it wasn't there) click in the Press
New Keyboard Shortcut: box & hold Command while you type the letter v. See
if anything shows that it is assigned to a different command just so you'll
know, then hit the Assign button. It should be restored when you OK out.

Your solution worked. I can now use Command-v to Paste. Thank you. But the keyboard shortcut still doesn't show up in the Edit Menu....?! I guess as long as it works I am grateful.

Sorry, after I q Word and reopened it the shortcut is now there! It needed to save first.

Yeah - my oversight... I should have mentioned that the menu wouldn't update
until the next launch 8-} Glad it's fixed.
