None of my Office Programs will open or respond

Recently I went to open Word and I received an error message stating that the
program must be installed to run. I have been using all office programs for
about 2 years now and have never had a problem. After trying to open
Powerpoint and Excel, I received the same message. I am extra frustrated
because I bought the computer with Office installed on it and do not have (or
cannot find) the software to re-install it. It appears all of my files are
on the computer, I just can't open them without getting the error message
telling me to install the programs. I have Windows XP. Any ideas?
