Not able to paste text from internet in Word

When I try to cut and past text from the internet, it bogs down the computer
and does not paste the text into Word.

Please let me know if this is a setting problem or if there is a way around
it, other than pasting into another program.

Well first; it definitely CAN be done.

There are a few Word AddIns that clear the Windows clipboard
when they load (as Word starts up), so start Word FIRST

Next fire up IE and navigate to the site you are interested in.

Select some 'content' by dragging the mouse, then CTRL+C on
the keyboard to copy it.

Switch to Word and CTRL+V to paste it - repeat to taste.

It something ELSE is happening, post back and let us know.

It is definitely slow in recent versions of Word, though, probably due to
security patches.
