Not getting my email in Outlook 2007

hi, although my outlook says it has finished sending/recieving all my emails,
when i got on the hotmail account, i realize that their is mail there that
outlook hasn't downloaded. Why isnt my Outlook downloading all my emails from
the hotmail account?
