Not receiving email

I have Outlook Express. Occasionally (not every time) I
will not receive an email in Outlook that I am expecting.
I contact the person sending (always the same person), and
she will say she has sent it, sometimes multiple times. I
do not know if she is getting an error message, but I
don't think so. Also, occasionally she will resend the
same email, and it also will not come through. If she
sends it to my Hotmail, I will get it. Sometimes this will
happen a couple of times a week, sometimes will go for 1-2
weeks without a problem. I work over the Internet, so I
cannot be missing these emails. The subject line is
always, for example, H123 J456 T7890, always those letters
with number combinations. The woman sending has a Hotmail
account. I get emails just fine from everyone else (that I
know of). Anyone have any ideas?
