Not Responding, ... Word 2000

Hi:
I've been using Word 2000 with Vista.

This morning when I clicked to open 'Word 2000,' it came right away, but a
'Warning' popping up at the very top of Word 2000, ... 'Word 2000 Not
Responding.'

Until yesterday, I used Word 2000 without any problems as if it's a brand
new Word 2007. Then, it's a shock to me as seeing this, 'Warning.'
However, in my second guess, ... I downloaded a program that I found in the
Internet along with some of 'Update.'

However, I still can not pin-point which or what causing this issue.
I might have lost something, like 'dll' which needs to run Word 2000
smoothly?

I did 'uninstall' and 're-install' several times today, however it's still
the same, ... 'Not Responding Word 2000.'

Thanks for any help on this.

Word 2000 might be viewed as 'dinasaour' program, ... however for me Word
2000 is a very comfortable program to use and first of all I got used to it.
However, my expression on this might have gone too far? I don't mean it,
.... but probably so.

I'd be appreciated it if you could offer me a help on this issue.
Thanks,

I don't really view it as a dinosaur if it works. I thought you were making
some reference to the new interface and I got confused.

What was the program you downloaded from the Internet?

I can not recall what program I downloaded, however I un-installed the
program I installed, that seems causing the problem. Because, my action of
un-installation also took away some of Word 2000?

Again, I can not recall it well, because I never thought about installation
and uninstallation causing this ill-effect,... took away Word 2000.

However, last nite I saw a Warning popping-up which stated, ... 'dll' or
something missing.

Thanks for the response.

I didn't see "officeav.dll."

I installed Word 2000, not Office 2000.

However, there are similar to WinWord, as typed below:

Win32K.sys
Win32spl.dll
Win87em.dll
Winbrand.dll

Thanks,

Warning Sign in Detail is as follow:
"A problem caused this program to stop interacting with Windows."

Problem Event Name: App Hang B1
Application Name: WINWORD.EXE.
Application Version: 9.0.0.27.17
Application Time Stomp: 36f08fb3

and more below, ....
