Not showing links to milestones on gantt chart

I am using MSP 2002 and on the gantt chart would like to display the
dependency links between tasks, but not milestones.

I do not want to delete the links, I just don't want them to show as I have
listed my milestones at the top rather than within the plan.

Is this possible?

Hello, PJH,
Possible but not immediate.
For all the tasks which are predecessor for this milestone, double the Bar
Style with a white symbole (with exactly the same shape) placed just above
the standard bar symbol.
For the milestone itself, do the same thing : a white symbole just above the
black symbol
Format / Bar styles...
