I have tried everything I can think of -- I am having difficulty viewing some
graphic images on some websites. This does not always happen, but there are
times when only a red x appears. If you can help me troublshoot this I would
greatly appreciate. I have already done everything that is listed in the
knowledge base section of microsoft. Please help

You did empty your cache? In Internet Explorer, tools, Internet Options, delete
files.

I've cleaned everything, even did the system tools, etc. disk defrag and all,
but still cannot get all the images on a few websites. It is intermittant,
but still aggrevating, especially because one of the sites is a friends
business. Any additional ideas greatly appreciated.

could be the links are just broken...or have file names that are being
blocked by Norton or whatever popup blocker you may be using.

if you have an example of am image thats coming up red-x'd post it so
someone else can take a look.
