NOW( ) Function

I am attempting to use the NOW function in a date field. It takes the date
that I created the function in project fine, but does not automatically
change the date in Project, on the next calendar day.

Any ideas on how to rectify this problem?

Thank you

Hi Gérard

Thank you for the answer. It worked. I was assuming that since Project
updated any task changes, it would update the NOW function as well.

Only if you set the calculation mode to automatic under
Tools>Options>Calculation. This is a client level setting.

Hi Jonathan

My settings are for automatic update, yet I still need to F9 in order for
the date to change.

Now() seems to behave that way. In a way that is good or it would be
constantly updating.
You might want to try using Date() Not that it will update any more
automatically, but it is more likely to be correct.
