I have MS Access 2002 (MS Office XP Proffesional CZ + SP3) and Visual Basic
6 + SP6 in Windows XP SP2.

Yesterday I started a new VB6 project which is going to import some DBF
files to a MDB XP database. Later on I tried to open MS Access 2002 but
instead of opening Access an instalator was run telling me that some parts
of the Office 2002 are to be re-installed. Access opened after this
procedure without any problem.

Today I tried to open Access and similar (re-install) procedure was trying
to do something but nothing happened for several minutes... and Assess
opened with the "Object Library Not Registered" error. Since then I have the
same error whenever I try to open Access 2002.

There was similar post on this error a few weeks ago (October 3rd 2006) but
no solution was found yet. I wonder if anybody from Microsoft will help us
this time.

I also tried to search MSDN and googled the web. The only similar issue I've
found was http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315576, but it doesn't help at all
since I don't have such folders (and files) in my PC (C:\Program
Files\Microsoft eMbedded Tools).

When I was having problems in Access 97 I was trying to consult them
personally with Microsoft managers here in Czech Republic. They adviced me
to buy a newer version of MS Office saying: "All your problems have been
resolved in new version.". Well, I'm not sure if this is true... all I could
say at the moment is: "No, it's not true. There are many more bugs and
problems in Access 2002 than in Access 97."

I'M STUCK! AND ANGRY!

I have noticed that there's no reference to any data object in a new A2002
project, neither to ADO nor to my belowed DAO. There must be something wrong
with that re-install procedure as I stated in my previous post.
