Obtaining a directory listing

I would like to paste the names of all files in a given
directory into a Word document. Is this possible?

Go to a command prompt (Start, Run, cmd, OK). Change to the desired directory. Type dir >> c:\list.txt and press Enter. You now have a file named list.txt containing the name, size, and mod date of all files in the folder.
