Office 2000 set up on new computer

I have purchased a new computer and have reinstalled
Office Profesional 2000 on it. When I try to download the
02-sr1a update I get an error message and a notice to call
Microsoft. Before I pay for help, is this a common issue?
The new Computer has Windows XP Media center Edition.

Why not go to the Office web site and order the update CD, it has SR1a. SP2
and SP3 on it.

This may not be a chargeable call, there have been in the past various
issues with v.specific errors that MS has provided a free resolution/patch.
Before calling make a note of the exact error msg.

If you Office 2000 Pro is a retail product you should

not have to pay for support . If it is an OEM product
call the manufacture of the computer and assist they
help . Hope it helps.
