I have two complete versions of microsoft office on my computer. one is 2002
and the other is a total (not upgrade) version of prof 2003. I don't have a
Key # for 2002 and it may have been lost, but I need to get 2002 off as its
usiing way too much space on my hardrive--without losing 2003
use------------I have an older dell dimensionXPS t600

You are not going to gain much space by uninstalling 2002
If you are that short of space, and assuming youve undertaken housekeeping
to rid your pc of 'crap', then you need to be thinking in terms of a larger
hd, or adding a slave.
If you uninstall 2003, then reinstall, it should give you the option to
remove the earlier version, 2002

Hello,

If you are running Windows XP, you can regain a lot of disk space if you
delete files/folders leftover from installing the various (and numerous)
Windows updates (assuming you have installed them along the way). These
files/folders, in general, are needed only if you want to uninstall them. But
if you have been using the PC for a while and it's working fine, there isn't
much need to keep those files/folders hanging around taking up valuable disk
space. I have seen several free utilities on the net that will find these
files/folders and delete them for you if you're not able to do it manually.
You could regain multiple megs of space.
