Office 2003 %20% in filenames w/ spaces

I have a user that is currently on Office 2003 SP3 and when she saves files
in Excel (or any MS Office application" and uses spaces in the name the
spaces are replaced by %20%.

Does anyone know hwo to fix this?

Sounds like she is working with/in a "web" environment and that forces
the "space" character which is 20 hexadecimal to be used.
