Office 2003 beta 2 update

I installed Office 2003 Beta 2 ontop of Office XP, but when I came to update
this installation it failed as it seemed to detect some aspects of Office
XP. How can I get the update to work?

I had the same problem in one PC (with Windows 2000) but
not with another one with Windows XP Professional.
In my case The Office updater (from the WEB page) failed
to detect wich component nedded to be update. I got the
following message: "The Office Update Catalog cannot be
displayed"
