I downloaded Word and Excel from the Office 2003 Student and teacher Edition
CD and did not download Publisher. I now wish to do so but when I choose add
a programme Publisher is not listed.
How do I download Publisher?

Publisher is not included in your version of Office. Sorry about that.
You will have to purchase Publisher as a standalone.

Very often, the term 'downloading' is used to describe the action of
installing because the person does not differentiate between acquiring
something from a remote source on the internet to something on a CD in their
CD tray..

I think that some should be given the benefit of the doubt, and not just
because it is Sunday or the fact that we approach the 'season of good will
to all folk'.. one can generally tell when the term is being used by
somebody who sees P2P as a better source of programs than a local computer
store or mail order..

Even when acquiring software from a remote source on the internet,
downloading and installing are two separate processes (sometimes combined
into one by some rather irritating installers).

It pays to learn the correct terminology, even if you don't aim to be an
expert.

You did? Sorry, but we don't assist thieves. Come back when you've *bought*

See above.
I used the wrong term because I have the proper CD
I apologise for my error
