Stuck in office
Recently my office 2003 updates have started failing I ignored them. I
installed the word math equation option and started getting error message.
Tried to repair and re-install. Tried removing but error message said it
could not find the source file!
Tried re-installing from CD, everything seems to run fine and then near the
end it begins "back out" and restores the files. The only message I get is "
The program failed to install. Send error report to Microsoft".
I've tried several fixes as suggested on the microsoft support sites. Tried
clean boots, the office resource kit, removed office using the clean program
but I cannot resolve this problem. The office programs are still on my
computer but will not load or run properly.
I even had an old version of Office XP I installed successfully. When I
reinstall Office 2003 it recognized the upgrade but fails in the same spot. I
did not that the XP install had the following:
error 1919: error config ODBC data source: visual foxpro database error 6:
I've reinstalled the ODBC as instructed but still no luck.
Any help would be appreciated
