I have a desktop running XP. I purchased a copy of Office 2003 awhile back
and it is currently installed on the desktop. I just purchased a laptop. I
would like to be able to use Office 2003 on it instead of the desktop.
However, when I tried to install I was told I could not activate it as only
one activation is allowed. At the time I did this the Office 2003 was still
on the desktop. My question is if I remove it from the desktop would I than
be allowed to activate it for use on my laptop? I would prefer to use it on
the laptop as I got both the Office 2003 and the laptop to be used for
school. However, I do not want to remove it from the desktop just to find I
still cannot activate it for use on the laptop and than not be able to put it
back on the desktop. The desktop is running XP and the laptop Vista. I read
the EULA and it seems I can only have it on one computer but it doesn't say
whether I can remove from one to install on new one.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
