Hmmm, the only difference between Standard and Student and Teachers in the licensing is how may installs can be activated. The
Professional Edition of Office has an enhanced version of MS Word and MS Excel that have more capabilities to handle customized XML
files.
Other factors that may come into play though are the level of updates applied to Office (security and service packs) and the same
with Windows itself. As an example, some versions of the Act! contact manager software add-ins and some versions of Adobe Acrobat
add-ins will work with certain MS updates installed and others will not.

It wasn't damage relating to installation or anything like that. It doesn't work for anyone with the Dictaphone program! It could
be related to the licensing portion though as it was mentioned elsewhere that the only difference is in the licensing.
